window’s vista activation code unregistered…?

i just turned my computer on and it came up with 3 error messages saying my window’s vista activation code was wrong n i restarted my computer and my desktop background had vanished and a little text box appeared in the bottom right corner of the screen again sayin activation code is wrong or invalid what can i do about this or do i need to contact window’s to sort it out?
