If you are setting up a virtual network using Citrix technologies,what are the copyright guidelines?

For example, if I am going to be sharing a program across the network, lets say on 30 computers, do I need to buy thirty licenses of that software?

That will depend on the software you are sharing and how each piece of software is licensed.
MS will surely require that you by a separate license for each seat that uses MS Word or Office
Autocad would let you have buy 10 seats, put the licenses on a server, and then any 10 users could use the program. If 11 wanted to use it, one would have to wait for an available seat.
Open Office and other open source programs do bother you with this kind of stuff.
