My lcd monitor blacks out for a few seconds then turns back on…?
I have a Westinghouse L1975NW monitor that will black out for a few seconds then come back on when I am watching DVDs, videos online, and running certain programs (architecture/design programs while rendering 3D views). I first thought it was a video card problem (I have an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200). I upgraded the drivers for that. Still had the problem. The monitor is only 11 months old, so I’m reluctant to say it is just use that has caused this problem.
I then tested an old CRT monitor and tested it by watching a DVD and doing a 3D rendering. No problem.
Does anyone know if this is a problem that could be easily fixed? or have you had a similar problem and have a solution.
Luckily I’ve only had it 11 months and it is still under warranty for another month. But I hope I don’t have to send it back.

if you’re lucky, it’s the power supply (brick) for the LCD, take it back before the warr. is up. your monitor is dying.
