Installing the Imager Perl Mod. in Windows -Where is Perl Looking for the Image Extension Libraries Like JPEG?
I’m installing the Imager Perl module for my Strawberry Perl. I’m installing the 0.67 version of Imager. Tony Cook, the module’s author says he did not configure Imager for Strawberry Perl. Strawberry Perl apparently does not include the JPEG, PNG BMP etc. extension image libraries in version 5.10 for which Imager is asking. With Windows, he recommends installing the GNUWIN32 image extension library versions which I have done for JPEG. He then suggests pointing the Makefile.PL of the Imager-0.67.tar.gz to the libraries. However, where in the Makefile.PL is it doing the pointing? How can I change this pointing? Thanks
