Summer Infant Securesleep Handheld Color Video Monitor This monitor is a life-saver! The temperature thing is kind of gimmicky, and we weren’t Planning to use That feature anyway. Yes, as a previous review mentioned, the temp. does fluctuate quite a bit, But I know what temp. my thermostat is set at, so I’m not really concerned about the temp. in the baby’s room. It is the Same as the Rest of the house. Some of the video Monitors are really expensive, and this one was much cheaper b / c the camera does not swivel around. We do not need That feature either. Considering broke didn’t have baby Monitors Even 30 years ago when I was a baby, you really Can not ask for more Than this. It Shows the room / crib clearly and gives us peace of mind That son is safe in our historic bed. No need to get up in the middle of the night because when the baby cries Can you just flip on the monitor and see That he is fine. Within minutes, he goes back to sleep, whereas Before, I Would have gone in there to see what was wrong, and he Would Have Seen by, and Been Even more fussy.

IF you want them done simply odious to see you child / crib at night, this product is great crack. I do not need to see what color my child’s Pajamas are, so the color monitor feature does not really matter sections. As long as I Can see Him, and know That he is in a safe position, crack That is all That matters, not the color, not the temp. Works great for us, and son is now 19 months old. There is no Bright light in the baby’s room, just a small green Indicator light, like on Any monitor. We have had no static and no buzzing sounds. All I hear is the baby, and historic white noise machine.

Composite Video $71.7 Composite video is the format of an analog television signal before it is combined with a sound signal and modulated onto an RF carrier. Composite video is often designated by the CVBS acronym, meaning Color, Video, Blank and Sync. In German the abbreviation FBAS means the same. It is usually in standard formats such as NTSC, PAL, and SECAM. It is a composite of three source signals called Y, U and V with sync pulses. Y represents the brightness or luminance of the picture and includes synchronizing pulses, so that by itself it could be displayed as a monochrome picture. U and V represent hue and saturation or chrominance; between them they carry the color information. They are first modulated on two orthogonal phases of a color carrier signal to form a signal called the chrominance. Y and UV are then combined. Since Y is a baseband signal and UV has been mixed with a carrier, this addition is equivalent to frequencydivision multiplexing.
