can i get a wireless CCTV, spy cams or security cameras and add it to my router?

need a camera that would trasmit live pictures/video in colour video directly to my PC.

any ideas which one i should go for and why?

There are wireless IP cammeras made by several vendors.

I suggest you configure them with a static LAN IP and also provide the pc to which you wish to send the pictures to with a static LAN IP.

There are several good brands out there; I really cannot recommend one over another. Stick with a major brand and you are probably going to be satisfied.
