Would I like the PS3 game White Knight Chronicles?

I am familiar with the games of Final Fantasy X-2 and XII, as well as Kingdom Hearts, I, II, and COM. I really like the battle system of the two KH games for the PS2, as well as the story for the entire KH series. I enjoy the complexity and overall gameplay of FFXII, but not so much the wait times for actions to occur. FFX-2 I really don’t like the battle system, the camera in general, and the story is not as great as the other games mentioned here.
I like the open world aspects of these games, and the ability to get statuses, (such as bubble, blind, poison, etc.), and the ability to control the camera, or to have the camera follow just behind the playing character around.
Based on this, do you think I would like White Knight Chronicles?

It sounds like you have an interest in more cutting-edge role playing games, as Final Fantasy X-2 and XII made some drastic changes to the turn-based battle system. Kingdom Hearts is more like an action RPG. Based on this, I think you might find White Knight Chronicles too traditional.

I liked the game, but I found that the traditional aspects of turn-based battles and running around huge towns doing stuff for people got boring after awhile. The story is also kind of meh, but that’s my opinion. Have you tried reading reviews?
